Alaska Memories

  Starting to sew a bowling shirt for my husband.  We bought this fabric when we went to Alaska in a little fabric shop in Palmer.  They had the best selection of Alaska themed batik fabric.  This one is native Alaskan themed fish.  There are halibut, whale, dolphin, salmon and other types of fish on the fabric.  It's quite striking.  The collar and pocket will be contrasting black.  My hubby is already planning a night out so he can wear it.  Incentive for me to get this baby done!

What to do... What to do.....

I have some time to myself and am wound up for some fun.  First I must go gather supplies for art group on Wednesday.  We are going to explore face making with paint.  So off to Joann's to gather supplies.  Upon return - Gelli printing!!!!!  Hopefully I'll get some prints I can use as the background for my new blog :)
